There happened 2 very exiting things on Thursday, March 13th.
The most exciting one was that we had a founding meeting to start a new student organization named Polarix UiT.
The purpose of Polarix is to bring together students at UiT who are interested in space technology in a social and technical environment, with a focus on the design, production, and operation of satellites and/or rocket payloads. The association will conduct projects that provide students with practical experience in space technology, highlight them within the space industry, and give them opportunities to participate in workshops and similar activities.
The other thing is that the 2 bachelor group that write their bachelor thesis with Serpent, presented their midterm presentation. There we got a glimpse of the progress and also some cool and intresting changes made to the separation mechanism and ADCS.
